Rowan University’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is a part-time program offered in a hybrid format with a combination of fully online courses, face to face classes, and clinical experiences. Choose from two tracks depending on your career goals:

Clinical Nurse Leader prepares Registered Nurses to assume leadership roles in their respective organizations.

Nurse Practitioner prepares Registered Nurses to sit for the specialty certification exam. Students in the track may specialize in Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Gerontology Acute Care.

Nursing education is offered through Rowan University’s Department of Nursing, an academic department in the School of Health Professions that collaborates with Rowan Global Learning & Partnerships to deliver nursing programs. Rowan University is a comprehensive public research institution with more than 14,000 students. The university consists of ten colleges, including two medical schools, and recently became the second institution in the nation to have both a D.O.-granting medical school (Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine) and an M.D.-granting medical school (Cooper Medical School of Rowan University).
